2003
ESTABLISHED
PT Prima Timah Utama is a Private Company established on April 3rd, 2003. We are producer and exporter of tin, start from exploration, mining, processing until marketing activities. We domiciled at Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung Indonesia and have own mining area in Bangka Belitung Indonesia. Our raw materials (tin ore) have been CFSI (Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative) Certified (from 2014 – 2018).
2013
ICDX MEMBER
PT. Prima Timah Utama has been registered as a member of ICDX (Indonesia Commodity & Derivatives Exchange) since 16th September 2013. We produce tin PB 100, 200, 300 sn 99.9% with brand “PTU”. For the year 2016 until now, we focus for the production of PB 300 sn 99.9%. We have capability to produce 250 – 300 tons of PB 300 tin per month.
2015
Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative
Our raw materials (tin ore) have been CFSI (Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative) Certified (from 04 Februari 2015).
2017
Registered as LME certified
Registered as LME certified at 19th September 2017 therefore PTU tin quality have been qualified and feasible to be traded as a commodity in International market. Our products have distributed to many countries such as Singapore, India, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, America, Netherlands and Germany.
2020
ISO 9001:2015
The production process has been certified with ISO 9001: 2015, valid from 17 September 2020 until 18 August 2023 and remains valid subject to satisfactory surveillance audits. Certified since 18 August 2014
